<Common notes for the SD Chibi Senshi series> --------------------------------------------
The SD Chibi Senshi series ran from 1992 to 1994 and features the smallest SD Gundam kits around, coming in at just about 4.5–5cm tall. That's exactly where the "Chibi" (little one) name comes from. It's a lineup that takes SD Gundam characters from various series and turns them into plastic kits with a small, simple build.

Every Chibi Senshi kit can also be displayed in Frame Mode by simply plugging the head, arms, and legs onto a frame. The frame included is one of six types chosen at random: No. 1 Speed Frame, No. 2 Agility Frame, No. 3 Radar Frame, No. 4 Power Frame, No. 5 Knowledge Frame, or No. 6 Mobility Frame.

Since the build is so simple, articulation is pretty basic — just rotation at the arms, feet, and head. Most kits come with a Chibi Medal, and if you collect several you can link them all together, which is a nice touch. Some kits also let you swap parts around for a transformation, or come with a separate stand to display the armor on. One more thing to note: the original release price was ¥300, which was about as cheap as it gets, but reprints from 2008 onward have gone up to ¥400 due to inflation, so keep that in mind.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is SD Star Gundam GP01 Jr., released as No. 5 in the SD Chibi Senshi series, featuring the character from Gundam Force Super G Arms. The special gimmick here lets you swap the parts around to transform it into Star Wolf Mode, and you can also combine the Plasma Rifle and Wolf Shield together as a weapon. Since Captain Gundam FF Jr. is basically its sibling kit, building both together sounds like it'd be a lot of fun. :-)
