This is a TV anime produced in 2021 as a follow-up to Sangoku Soketsuden, and just like the title "World Heroes" suggests, it draws inspiration from heroes across various eras. The plastic model line follows the same concept as Soketsuden, and even reuses the same shared frame runners from that series. This kit is the SD Dominant Superior Dragon, released as No. 32 in the SD Gundam World Heroes lineup. It's based on the previously released SD Superior Strike Freedom Dragonwith changes to the molded colors and some parts. The design has been tweaked slightly on the head, shoulders, skirt, forearm armor, and ankle armor.

That said, aside from the significantly redesigned head antenna, the design changes aren't all that noticeable — the all-black color scheme hits a lot harder than any of the sculpt differences. Overall build quality is on par with the previous kits, and the accessory parts and leftover parts are identical to the SD Superior Strike Freedom Dragon as well.

Either way, this kit is meaningful just for the fact that a black Superior Dragon has been made into a product — if you're into that bold color scheme and style, it seems like a fun, easy SD kit to enjoy. :-)
