This is a TV anime series made as a follow-up to the 2021 Three Kingdoms Sangokuden, and just like the title "World Heroes" suggests, it draws inspiration from heroes across different eras. The plastic model line follows the same concept as Sangokuden, and even reuses the same shared frame runners from that series. On top of that, the way all the parts are structured and even the material feel are identical, so it's honestly not much of a stretch to just call these the same Sangokuden series kits rather than a true successor line.

Also like the Sangokuden kits, these are made at Bandai's Chinese factory rather than the Shizuoka plant, and the plastic still feels hard and the assembly is stiff. That said, the intricate molding and color separation give you a great-looking straight build, and the price feels pretty reasonable relative to what you get.

The Wukong Impulse Gundam is based on a childhood motif, so it comes out smaller than the other kits. The arms, legs, and torso are also built with a minimal number of parts and no joints, and the color separation isn't great either, so it relies heavily on seals. That does mean the hollowing is pretty bad too, but either way, it feels like a more simplified kit compared to the others.

Neither kit offers much in the way of articulation, which makes dynamic posing pretty tough. Still, they're perfectly fine display pieces thanks to that SD cuteness and flashy styling.
