What a unit — nice and beefy~

True to form for a Season 2 1/100 kit — clean and sharp with well-defined edges.
The head.
The center of the forehead uses the usual method of placing a sticker behind a clear part.

Arms and legs.
GN Bazooka II and GN Cannon.
This is the heel verniers...
The area around the verniers has color separation in gray.
It's pretty rare for them to pay attention to details like this, so that's a nice surprise. ^^;
The beam sabers are stored on the outside of the forearms.
But once you snap them in, getting them back out is a real pain...
The Gundam head on the back also has a sliding face gimmick.
The eyes and duct areas have rainbow seals applied, giving them a beautiful iridescent shine.
The GN Bazooka II has all the basic articulation points faithfully reproduced.
The peg used to connect with the GN Cannon on the back can be retracted or extended.
The sliding gimmick where the barrel splits open is also reproduced.
It can also be split into two separate pieces depending on the situation.
A large green clear part has been used here.
A look at the inside of the muzzle.
The articulation is nothing special,
but considering the size of this thing, it's pretty decent.
The front skirt armor has an interesting movement —
it lifts up slightly and rotates side to side, which helps increase the range of motion at the hip joints.
GN Bazooka II action.
One-handed firing pose.
It looks pretty heavy, but the joints hold up well.
You can extend the peg at the end of the GN Bazooka II to connect it to the GN Cannon on the shoulder.
The peg keeps it locked in nice and solid.

Buster Cannon action with the GN Bazooka II split into two.
The joints are solid so it holds poses really well — nice~
Firing pose with all 4 GN Cannons deployed and the GN Bazooka II split, for a total of 6 cannons firing at once.
On top of that, you can attach hands to the knee GN Cannons to have them hold beam sabers.
You can attach beam saber-holding hands to both the knee and shoulder GN Cannons.
You can pull off some pretty interesting action poses like this.
Six-sword style Gundam, out of nowhere!!
This kit only comes with 2 beam sabers, but if you borrow some from other Gundam kits,
you can set up a six-sword style with all 6 hands holding one each.

Somehow feels like it might end up hurting itself while swinging them around..;;;
Seraphim separation!
Seravee's back after the Seraphim has been detached.
The Seraphim's folding gimmick is slightly improved over the HG..
When you fold the legs, the heel pegs lock into the back of the thighs.
There are also locking pegs on the butt,
which connect to Seravee's butt to hold the pose more securely.
The knee covers are swappable — you reposition them by removing and reattaching them.
I figured the 1/100 might use a slide mold mechanism..
But seeing that it uses the same method as the HG, it's clear that a No Grade is still a No Grade.;
However, unlike the HG, the cover on the back of the head is articulated rather than removable.
When transforming into backpack mode, you still need to remove the head and hands.
Second review subject — Seraphim Gundam, size comparison with a cigarette pack.
It's definitely on the small side for a 1/100.

Since it's a transformable unit, there's not much point in talking about articulation...

Together with the HG Seraphim.
Together with the HG Seravee.
Together with Gundam Virtue, a Season 1 OO unit and its predecessor.
All four Celestial Being Gundams from OO Season 2 have finally assembled!
The OO Season 2 1/100 kits really do seem to have top-notch quality..
In the end, this kit feels like a bundle pack with two separate units included.
(Which also means twice the work.. lol)
