Throne Zwei — the second of the Throne units, which seems to have been designed as a variation kit from the very start — has been released in HG. As you probably know, in German "Ein" means 1, "Zwei" means 2, and "Drei" means 3. Throne Zwei, piloted by Michael, the second brother who always seemed to be missing something, comes equipped with its own unique weapons: the massive GN Buster Sword and the GN Fangs.

True to the lore, the three Gundam Thrones share the same body with only the molded colors changed between them. Structurally, the head and weapon sections are what differ. The GN Buster Sword and GN Hand Gun added to Throne Zwei both feature their own opening/closing gimmicks, and a cable for connecting to Throne Ein is also included.

While Throne Ein's molded color was a bit of a murky, dull brownish tone that divided opinions, Throne Zwei's orange actually looks quite vibrant in person — so in terms of molded color, Zwei definitely has the edge over Ein. Just like Ein, the body joints are quite solid, making it very easy to hold action poses, and the articulation is pretty good too.

Anyway, this was always going to come out eventually, so there's not much more to say — but compared to the early complaints, the kit's quality seems to be well worth it and then some. Now that Drei just needs to come out so we can finally do the three-siblings action shot.. ^^
