There are three main differences between the previously released HG Tieren Space Type and this commander type.

1. The head has been changed to a boxy, square shape.
2. The shoulders have been redesigned, with large shoulder armor added on both sides.
3. The back of the feet has been made longer.

Everything else is the same as the existing space type, so most of the characteristics — the excellent articulation, the sense of weight, and so on — carry over as well. The shoulder armor added for the commander type has a surprisingly great range of motion, moving in all directions: front, back, left, right, up, and down. There are two bear seal styles to choose from — a cute one and a more charismatic one — but I personally liked both, so I put one on each side. :-)
