HG GNR-010

0 Raiser

Kit Review

Following the 1/100, the 0 Raiser has now made its way into the HG lineup.
It basically feels like a straight-up scaled-down version of the 1/100 — aside from some color separation being replaced with stickers, the overall construction and gimmicks are nearly identical. In other words, all the functions and moving parts that the 0 Raiser needs to do its job work faithfully and well. Small but packed with content. ^^

The gimmicks for the 0 Raiser are all in great shape, so there's not much to complain about. When combined with the HG 00 Gundam, the lighter weight compared to the 1/100 means it can hold a stable pose. With the 1/100, the weight tends to pull the back slightly rearward, but the HG stands up nice and straight — good on it.

The HG 0 Raiser comes with a new dedicated stand that has a unique structure where the base spreads outward. On top of that, the open space in the middle makes it compatible with the Action Base 2 for 1/144 scale, which lets you display 00 Gundam and the 0 Raiser together at the same time.

Overall, it's small but matches the 1/100 in quality almost exactly — it's an great accessory kit that feels even more compact and solid than the 1/100. The connection with the HG 00 Gundam is also better, and honestly there's nothing to fault here. A solid kit all around :-)
