It was bound to come out eventually, but the GN-X III Earth Sphere Federation variant — which reeks of a filler release — has been put out as an HG. It's structurally 100% identical to the existing HG GN-X III Arouse version, with the only change being the molded color swapped out to the Federation's light blue. The GN-X itself has solid joint strength and decent articulation, so this kit delivers above-average, stable quality as well. The red color on the Arouse version was nice, but the light blue here came out looking pretty cute too.

February 2009 already had a ton of varied kits releasing, so there really wasn't much need to push out yet another rehash filler release… but I suppose the significance of this kit lies in giving us a slightly wider range of choices. :-)
