HG GNZ-007

Gadessa

Kit Review

Following the Garazzo and Gadessa, the related unit Gadessa has now been released as an HG kit.
In the show, it's piloted by Anew, a female Innovator, and she ends up in a tragic love story with Lyle.

The basic frame and structure are identical to the Garazzo/Gadessa, with only the head, shoulders, and skirt design changed. The biggest difference from the Garazzo/Gadessa is that it carries a total of 7 GN beam saber fangs — bit weapons mounted on the shoulders and skirts — and the kit even includes clear parts specifically for attaching these fangs.

The overall structure and features are the same as the Garazzo/Gadessa, with comparably good articulation and solid joint strength. That said, the same issue carries over too — the front toe(?) pieces keep popping off because they don't hold very well;

The two clear part mounts included for recreating the GN beam saber fang deployment are really effective and let you pull off some pretty convincing action scenes. On top of that, these clear mounts are designed to be compatible with the HG Cherudim as well, so you can also recreate scenes of the Cherudim launching its GN Shield Bits.

It's essentially just a variation of the Garazzo/Gadessa with a different color scheme, but the ability to recreate the bit weapon deployment gives this kit its own unique appeal. :-)
