This kit is the HG Seven Sword/G : Inspection version, released as a 2010 Chara Hobby exclusive. It takes the original HG Seven Sword and changes the molded colors to shades of red and pink, with a special base thrown in as a bonus.

Unlike the blue original Seven Sword, the red version has its own gorgeous and eye-catching look. You can recreate all kinds of flashy action scenes with the various weapons, and the clean, solid build quality is just as satisfying as the original kit. ^^

The newly added special base is a modified version of the standard 1/144 Action Base 2, featuring a wider square base plate and a longer support arm. The base plate has a bunch of peg holes so you can position the support arm in all sorts of spots for different display angles.

In the end, the color variant alone is already pretty enough on its own, but with the special base included on top of that, this is a pretty worthwhile limited edition. Feels like it would've been a hit even as a regular retail release. :-)
