Kit Review

Straight build

Released alongside the AG Zeydra, the HG version shows off some seriously impressive color separation work as you'd expect from a modern HG kit. As you can see, crimson, yellow, and orange are layered together in multiple stages, giving it a really vibrant and eye-catching look. On top of that, fluorescent clear green parts are used on the chest and wings, adding a beautifully luminous sparkle to the whole thing.

The HG Zeydra has this dynamic, muscular design, and on top of that the articulation is excellent and the joint strength is solid, making it really easy to pose. It's exactly the kind of kit that gives you that satisfying hands-on feel of a poseable action figure in model kit form. As a poseable toy, it's just outstanding. ^^

Even straight out of the box with just a straight build, it already looks stunning — and on top of that it delivers top-tier articulation, making this a premium HG kit that I'd happily recommend to just about anyone. Even if you haven't watched the anime or aren't particularly into AGE, if you enjoy mecha model kits you'll have a great time with this one. It stays true to what a poseable action figure kit should be, and it's a definite recommendation. :-)
