The Ghirarga, which was first released as an AG kit, has now gotten the HG treatment. As you can see, just like the Zeydra, it's built on a bright red base color with a pretty flashy overall design — and even at HG scale, the color separation on the body is pulled off almost perfectly. Thanks to that, it shows off a more vibrant and eye-catching color scheme than just about any other Gunpla out there. ^^
The overall joint strength and articulation are satisfying, as you'd expect from a modern HG — though the elbow parts and pink parts that you detach for the Ghirarga Bit opening do tend to fall off a bit too easily. Since you can't just glue them down (you need to swap the beam parts in and out), there's not much you can do about it. That said, the fully open Ghirarga Bit pose with all 6 beam parts attached looks absolutely stunning. ^^ The base colors are already flashy enough on their own, but pile on all those beam parts and it gets seriously dazzling.
As for other weapons, you get the Ghirarga Spear — which can be split into two stages and combined — along with the Ghirarga Tail. The Ghirarga Tail is built by threading seven joints onto a lead wire, which means you can bend it in all sorts of directions and it holds its shape nicely. Really like that about it.
Anyway, the biggest highlight of this kit is the insane color separation and coloring it pulls off despite being HG scale. Even if you're a Gunpla fan who isn't particularly into AGE, this is still a kit worth recommending — the satisfying straight build experience and the gorgeous finished result alone make it worthwhile. :-)
