The Gundam Legilis — the villain Gundam from Gundam AGE — has been released as an HG. Due to its design, yellow accents are scattered all over the body, and they've done a great job getting close to the official colors through generous color separation and seals. ^^

First off, as you'd expect from an HG using the latest polycaps, the joint strength is solid and the articulation is excellent, so you can pose it around without any worries. The shield's Legilis Bit launch gimmick is recreated with a detachable cover, and the tail-like Legilis Cannon has four articulated joints built in so it can swing freely forward. The Legilis Core separation and wing expansion gimmicks — both key features of the Legilis — are also included, and overall it really feels like they put a lot of care into faithfully recreating the design specs. (Though the Legilis Cannon's design itself does feel a little... bizarre...)

As the villain Gundam that completely overpowered the protagonist's unit, this one probably had quite a few fans curious about it — and I'd say the overall quality and feel of the kit more than delivers. If you've had your eye on the Gundam Legilis, this is a solid kit you can pick up without any hesitation. :-)
