The AGE-FX Burst Mode — basically the Super Saiyan (?) form of the Gundam AGE-FX — has been released as an HG kit. Think of it like Trans-Am Mode from 00; when the suit kicks into Burst Mode to maximize its performance, the body takes on a bluish tint and burst effects appear all over the mobile suit.

Since there's no real structural transformation (much like Trans-Am), the base body is completely identical to the original HG AGE-FX — just with different molded colors. But apparently Bandai felt a simple color variant wasn't enough, so they went ahead and molded the entire body in gloss injection, giving it a nice shiny sparkle under the lights.

The 18 included Burst parts plug into the existing funnel slots to give the kit a really flashy look, and since the original C Funnels and display stand are also included, the full funnels + Burst Mode action poses pack quite a punch. With the gloss injection on top of everything else, this is honestly one of the best bang-for-your-buck kits out there when it comes to display presence. ^^

All in all, this is a gorgeous kit with solid build quality, beautiful molded colors, and a generous helping of spectacular Burst parts and funnels. Even if you're not a Gundam AGE fan, it's a uniquely eye-catching kit that's well worth putting together. :-)
