The 34th new AGE HG kit is the pirate-themed mobile suit, G-Xiphos. Parts-wise, it reuses about 80% of the G-Bouncer's parts, with changes to the head, shoulders, chest skirt, and weapons.

Since the basic body structure is identical to the G-Bouncer, it delivers decent articulation and solid joint strength. The color scheme is a deep, dark tone similar to the old G-Exes Jackedge and Shaldoll Rogue — the molded color gives off a nice, weighty feel.

What really sets the G-Xiphos apart is its stylish weapons — it comes with the pirate hook-shaped Dodge Buster-H and a high-output Heat Sword. Even though the designs don't feel particularly fresh anymore, these two weapons give the action poses a slightly different vibe compared to other kits. ^^

The AGE anime itself isn't all that popular, but personally I think the AGE Gunpla designs are actually pretty decent. There are quite a few kits with their own unique personalities that stand out from the usual lineup — though it is a bit of a shame that we keep getting variations like this instead of completely new kits. Either way, if you're an AGE fan, this is definitely a fun build. :-)
