The GBN-Base Gundam has been released as part of the Build Divers HG lineup. The basic design concept draws from the RX-78 First Gundam, but it feels like a modern remodel of that classic. It's grown a bit larger and slimmer, with proportions that almost come across as feminine — so that's something people will either love or not, depending on their taste.

It's got that familiar First Gundam look, but the molded colors have this subtly translucent pastel feel that makes it look surprisingly fresh. On top of that, the articulation is some of the best I've seen. The HGUC First Gundam Revive already had great articulation, but the GBN-Base Gundam manages to feel even more dynamic despite having a similar range of motion.
