As a variation of the HG Build Strike Gundam, the Star Build Strike Gundam Plavsky Wing has been released — quite the mouthful of a name! It's a kit that combines the base Build Strike Gundam body with the Universe Booster (also sold separately), and on top of that, blue clear Plavsky Wing parts have been added.

The base HG Build Strike Gundam uses the same framework as HGUC-class non-Universal Century kits, so it delivers the clean straight build, excellent articulation, and solid joint strength you'd expect from a modern HG. The Universe Booster, which transforms from a aircraft into a backpack and combines with the main body, has a pretty colorful look to it, and the combined result is honestly pretty cool.

The Star Beam Cannon on the Universe Booster can be extended in length, and unlike the normal version, both the shield design and the entire rifle have been changed, so the kit does a solid job of recreating the design specs. The blue Plavsky Wings can be freely attached across various spots on the back and legs, which is a nice touch. The only thing to watch out for is that the small wings can be a bit loose, so you'll want to be a little careful when posing.

The included dedicated stand has a unique base design — it's built to store the pink clear parts that you remove when attaching the wings. The stand is technically categorized as a display piece for the Universe Booster, but it works just as well for displaying the main body too.
