The 10th Build Fighters kit is the GM Sniper K9, a modified version of the HGUC GM Sniper II. The design changes the original GM Sniper II's molded color to a green tone and adds various armor pieces to the body, and it also bundles in the K9 Dog Pack that's available separately as well.
The base kit, the HGUC GM Sniper II, is from 2012, but its articulation is a bit lacking compared to other HGUCs from around the same period. The new-style polycap does give it solid joint strength, but this kit still isn't great for striking poses. ^^; The leg range of motion is surprisingly(?) limited, so getting good ground-based poses is tough.
The newly added armor and weapons give it a nice MSV-style appeal, but the beam gun storage unit that slots in between the hip joint connection is a real problem — the legs pop off way too easily. -_- The articulation is already not great to begin with, and when you try to force a pose, the legs will suddenly come off, or the thigh armor will even fall apart on you. The heat knife stored on the right shoulder also tends to pop off, so it gave me quite a bit of trouble during the photo shoot.
The large new beam sniper rifle looks great and is pretty functional too — it's one of the weapons included with the K9 Dog Pack, which is also available as a Builders Parts kit. You can fold the weapon up and mount it on top of the Dog Pack as well. For more details on the K9 Dog Pack, check out that kit's review.
The overall look isn't bad, but there are a few spots where parts don't hold together well, so it doesn't feel like the cleanest kit out there. If you want everything to stay put, you'll probably need to break out the glue in a few places. That said, it's a decent, middle-of-the-road kit that I'd recommend to anyone who wants a fresh-looking design with a straightforward build. :-)
