Kit Review

The 12th entry in the Build Fighters HG lineup is Miss Sazabi, a feminine-styled mech. While it shares the same basic frame as the existing HGUC Sazabi, most of the exterior has been swapped out for new parts — and as you can see, it ditches the bulky Sazabi look in favor of a slender silhouette. On top of that, the bold red color scheme has been replaced with a bright sky blue combination, giving it a refreshingly clean appearance.
Since most of the parts have been changed, it actually feels like building a brand-new kit rather than just a variation. Look closely though, and you'll notice it's not a complete overhaul of the original Sazabi's armor — the shoulder parts have been repurposed as the backpack, the front skirt becomes the shield, and the foot parts move over as side leg accessories. So there's a clever reuse of existing parts going on here.
The original HGUC Sazabi already had pretty solid joints, but Miss Sazabi — being lighter and slimmer — feels even sturdier. Thanks to that, whatever pose you put her in locks right into place, making it a very satisfying kit to handle. On the flip side, the leg articulation — especially the hip joints — is a bit limited, which is a little disappointing when it comes to posing.
That said, if they were going to go with the "Miss" feminine branding, I kind of wish they'd gone full pink (...) instead. Just being slimmer and brighter doesn't really make it read as feminine. But then again, it's a setting-breaking MSV, so I guess it doesn't really matter. ^^;
Anyway, with its clean build feel, solid joints, and fresh take on the Sazabi, this seems like a solid, enjoyable kit to put together just for the fun of it. :-)
