While the design is based on the First Gundam, it uses an all-new mold that's different from both the HGUC First and the HG 30th Anniversary First. The overall layout feels closer to the HG 30th Anniversary version, but the articulation and joint feel seem noticeably improved.

The two-tone red armor colors are molded beautifully, giving it a nice, polished look even straight from a straight build. A big plus is that all the weapons from the separately released Build Custom Kurenai Weapon are included, meaning you've got endless posing options with all sorts of weapon combinations.
