The 42nd kit in the HG Build Fighters lineup is the Gundam Leopard Da Vinci, inspired by the Leopard from Gundam X. What makes this kit stand out is the sheer variety of weapons included — you get two each of the large Beam Gatling guns, missile pods, and Beam Cannons, plus a beam rifle, for a total of seven weapons.

As for the overall look, the color scheme and design concept are pretty much in line with the original Leopard, with only the finer details feeling modernized. In other words, it's not exactly a groundbreaking new design, but the overall proportions, color palette, and sharp detailing still give it that fresh, new-release feel.

The base kit quality is clean and polished as you'd expect from a modern release, with great arm and leg articulation that folds up nicely, plus solid joint strength — so posing it is a lot of fun. You can also arrange the various weapons on the backpack, shoulders, and sides of the legs however you like, and they all hold in place securely, making this a very easy kit to handle. ^^
