The third Beargguy from Build Fighters, and this time it's Beargguy P[Pretty] released as an HG kit. Much like the Petit'gguy, it looks like Bandai went into color variant mode (…) with a pink body, and what's interesting is the small wings on the backpack and the ring floating above its head. And just like its predecessors, it's based on the excellent HGUC Acguy, so the basic articulation and joint structure are still solid.
The new backpack on the Beargguy P[Pretty] is called the "Love Striker," and according to the lore it's compatible with the same Striker system from Gundam SEED. The round ring floating above its head seems to be borrowing the angel imagery, though it kind of makes it look like a ghost bear to me. This ring part is made of soft material, so you have to bend it 90 degrees by hand to position it — and over time it tends to gradually spring back upward due to the elasticity. Also, this ring part needs to be painted gold, but since it's a soft part the paint may not adhere well, so you'll probably want to apply a primer coat first before painting.
On top of that, the hand parts have been changed to the hole-punched type so it can hold the heart-shaped wand called the "Pretty Stick." Like the previous kits, there's also an angry face part and various eye seals for different expressions, though it's a bit of a shame that they're mostly just angry or gloomy-looking eyes.
Anyway, it seems like Bandai has really gotten a taste for bear-plushie color variants lately (…), but with the cute pink color scheme and heart motifs, this seems like a fun little kit to build just for the heck of it. :-)
