The GM/GM from Gundam Build Fighters: GM's Counterattack has been released as an HG kit. Just from the series title, it almost sounds like the GM is the main character — but either way, this Build Fighters version GM/GM, which you could call a 21st-century MSV, has come out with main character-level quality.

First off, it's been completely transformed with a modern proportions that stand in sharp contrast to the original GM. Overall it's taller and slimmer, giving off a kind of sleek, urban vibe. Personally I wonder if the narrow shoulders are a bit too extreme, so it might be a love-it-or-hate-it thing — but either way, it definitely has a distinctly different feel from the original GM.

True to the latest Build Fighters kits, the articulation is top-notch, making dynamic poses easy to pull off. Three head options are included — GM/GM Custom/D.O.M.E. type — so you can mix and match however you like. Basic weapons are limited to just a beam spray gun and beam saber, but additional weapons have been released separately as Build Custom kits.

All in all, this is an A-grade action model kit with a sleek style, excellent articulation, and solid joint strength — and honestly, it's a more satisfying build than the Star Build Burning Gundam, the main character kit released alongside it. Building multiple Gundams might feel like a bit much, but with a unique, high-quality GM like this, I think you could happily build three of them :-)
