The Gundam Lightning Black Warrior has been released as the 61st kit in the Build Fighters HG lineup. As the name suggests, it's a variation kit of the Gundam Amazing Red Warrior — the existing Red Warrior runners are included as-is with only the molded color changed, and just one new runner for the Long Mega Launcher has been added.

Since the main body only differs in molded color, all the structural features are completely identical to the Red Warrior, delivering solid quality with decent articulation and sturdy joint strength. On top of that, you can combine the existing Kurenai weapon set with the new Long Mega Launcher parts to build two additional new weapon configurations.

Of the new weapons, the Long Mega Launcher — which uses the most parts to assemble — has a pretty cool look, and thanks to its support stand it's easy to hold in the hand, making posing a breeze. The great joint strength really stands out here too, since it lets you pull off stable poses even while wielding such a large weapon.

It's a variation kit without any major changes, but the heavy, powerful-looking color scheme and the new weapon give it its own personality. :-)
