This kit is the HG Gundam OO Diver Arc, released as part of the Gundam Build Metaverse series. It's based on the HG Gundam OO Diverfrom the Build Divers series, with a number of newly tooled parts added — the head, chest, and GN Drive areas have been redesigned, and a bunch of beam parts have been added.
Starting with the design, the center of the chest has been changed to a Gundam AGE-style look. The head design has also been revised, and weapon mounts for the Arc Bracers have been added to the forearms. The biggest change is the GN Drive being replaced by the Arc Drive, which carries large beam parts. Detach the Arc Drive, remove the beam parts on both sides, and pull out the handle to use it in Burst Buster Sword mode. You can also add beam parts to the newly tooled forearm mounts to recreate the Arc Bracers. The original GN Swords and beam sabers are still included as well, so including the beam sabers, you end up with a total of eight sword-type weapons.
The main body is structurally identical to the original HG Gundam OO Diver, so it still delivers solid articulation and joint strength. That said, with all the extra weapons, some parts end up being a bit iffy to keep in place. The beam parts on the shoulders and the Arc Bracer beam parts in particular tend to pop off easily — it's the kind of kit that needs a lot of fiddling to get everything looking clean. On the flip side, the beam parts are flashy and the weapon loadout is generous, so the poses do look pretty impressive.
As a typical Build series kit, this is the third remodel in the line following HG 00 Gundam and HG Gundam OO Diver. It's a bit of a shame that all the extra bits make some parts harder to keep secure, but at least it's not a loose kit, so it's still fun enough to mess around with. Above all, the visuals are pretty striking, so if the style appeals to you, this seems like a kit worth picking up and enjoying. :-)
