The Haropla series keeps expanding with all kinds of quirky variants, and this time it's the Zakrello Haro's turn. True to its name, it's a Haro done up in Zakrello style — the round body is the same as ever, but now it's fitted with the Zakrello's claw arms and booster legs.

The Zakrello already had this oddly charming design to begin with, and combining it with a Haro just sends the cuteness through the roof. The claws, shoulders, and boosters all have some articulation, so you can pull off a few poses. The one downside is that the claw sections are all handled with stickers, which feels a little off. It would've been nice if they'd done proper color separation there instead — a bit of a missed opportunity.

That said, it stays true to what this lineup is all about: winning you over with sheer cuteness. It's a light, fun kit that I'd recommend to just about anyone. :-)
