McGillis's unitwith changed molded colorsand an added weapon loadout. The newly added weapon is a dedicated lance parts set exclusive to Gaelio's unit.

Aside from the dedicated lance, all the parts and features are identical to the existing McGillis unit. True to its 1/100 scale, it has a large, full-bodied volume along with solid articulation and joint strength. The limb bend range itself is great, but it's still a bit of a shame that the front of the thighs are so bulky — it limits how far the hip joints can swing up.

The newly sculpted dedicated lance can be completed by simplifying the existing rifle into a short-barrel form and then combining the two. Thanks to the oversized lance, you can pull off some really powerful attack poses unique to Gaelio's unit. On top of that, the existing battle axe and wire claw launch gimmick are all still included as well.

So with the addition of the dedicated lance as a new weapon, this color variant kit does bring something worthwhile to the table. If you like the look of it, it seems like a solid 1/100 kit to enjoy casually at ¥3,000. :-)
