This kit is the Full Mechanics 1/100 Aile Calamity Gundam, released as a Club G (Premium Bandai) online exclusive. It's the mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Eclipse, based on the Full Mechanics 1/100 Calamity Gundam with the Aile Pack and additional weapons added on. With all the flashy new armaments and weaponry, the overall volume has gotten a whole lot beefier.

The main body is identical to the existing Full Mechanics Calamity Gundam, with only the shoulder armor changed. So the articulation characteristics are exactly the same as well, still showing decent articulation and solid joint strength. The sculpting on the new wings is large and three-dimensional, pulled off really nicely. The new shoulder armor is equipped with 57mm dual-barrel shoulder cannons and 220mm quad-barrel multipurpose missile pods, while the wingtips carry 120mm triple-barrel Gatling guns.

On top of that, a beam gauntlet unit has been added to the forearms — you remove the forearm armor and attach separate beam parts to form the beam gauntlet. The large aerial composite weapon "Adora" can be used in 4 different modes — War Hammer Mode / Jabelin Mode / Rifle Mode A / Rifle Mode B — by making use of its various articulation gimmicks. Thankfully it connects well with the interchangeable fingers, so you shouldn't have any trouble with grip issues.

As you can see, quite a substantial amount of new sculpting has been added, and while it doesn't have an inner frame, the overall exterior detail is on par with a finely crafted MG-class kit. If the Universal Century has RE/100, then you could say the non-Universal Century has Full Mechanics. In particular, the fact that it can stand and pose solidly even with the large Aile Pack added to the back is worth praising, and in terms of durability it's far better than the RE/100 with its somewhat flimsy polycaps.

All in all, this is a great quality kit with a refined appearance, solid stability, and a rich set of weapon options — it's definitely one I'd highly recommend to anyone who loves big, flashy kits. :-)
