This is the HGUC Second V, released as a Club G (Premium Bandai) online exclusive. At first glance it might look like a regular V Gundam kit with some extra weapons tacked on, but look closer and you'll find that some of the joints and most of the exterior have actually been changed — it's pretty much a near-new-mold release.

Various parts have been swapped out to match the design specs and color settings, but the basic underlying frame is still pretty much the same as the existing HGUC V Gundam. It comes together as a kit with solid articulation and sturdy joint strength that holds poses well. The real highlight is of course the added armament — the new Mega Beam Cannon and Minovsky Shield can both be mounted on the backpack. The Mega Beam Cannon can swing forward, and the Minovsky Shield can be disassembled, the center part swapped out, and reassembled to display it in either the folded or open configuration. The beam weapons from the HGUC V Gundam are also included, and the large Minovsky Drive unit on the back can open and close as well.

With over 70% new parts, this is a really solid kit, and for anyone who's a fan of the V Gundam series, it looks like a variation that'll definitely satisfy. :-)
