This kit is the HGUC Gundam Unit 4, released as a Club G (Premium Bandai) online exclusive. It was previously released as an MG back in 2003, and now 17 years later it's finally getting the HGUC treatment. Some runners are reused from the HGUC Gundam Unit 6 Mudrock and the Pale Rider (Space Combat Type), but the majority of the parts come from new molds.

First off, the Unit 4's distinctive bold color combination is well realized through color separation and stickers. Aside from the large blue sticker applied to the shield, most of the body achieves the design colors through parts separation, so the overall look is very clean. Articulation-wise, full limb bend is achieved, and the joint strength is solid enough to feel almost a little stiff — which means posing stability is excellent. The Unit 4's signature weapon, the Hyper Beam Rifle, is included and connected to the energy pack via a red lead wire. You can also remove the shoulder booster thrusters and back propellant tanks from the [Bst] configuration to set it up in normal mode.
