This kit is the HGUC Pale Rider Cavalry, released as a Club G (Premium Bandai) online exclusive. It's based on the previously released HGUC Pale Rider, but most of the exterior parts have been newly redesigned, giving it the feel of an almost entirely new mold. The color combination has gotten noticeably more complex, and with the addition of a large weapon, the overall look has become quite striking.

The basic build quality feels similar to the HGUC Pale Rider — solid articulation and very sturdy joint strength. There are quite a few seals due to the complex color layout, but that also means you can achieve a really detailed finish. And just like the other Missing Link kits, you can swap in orange nozzle seals instead of gray ones to recreate the Hades activation state. Swapping the seals is a pretty fiddly job though, so it's best to decide which ones you're going with before you start building. (Trust me, I tried doing it after the fact and it was a nightmare..)

The main weapon is a large combined armament called the Shekinah — it combines a micro missile launcher, a mega beam launcher, and a giant Gatling all in one. It's a hefty weapon, but since it locks onto both the hand and the forearm, it stays on nice and secure. You can also connect a lead wire to link it up with the energy pack on the side skirt, and the original Pale Rider's beam rifle is included as well. The new shield gets a thick sheet-type special seal applied to the outside, and the glossy finish looks so good it almost feels like a gloss paint job. On top of all that, a beam Jabelin — the kind you'd only expect to see on a First Gundam — is also included, making for a really generous weapon loadout overall.

With its clean yet striking looks, solid durability, and generous weapon selection, this kit delivers a really high-quality experience. It's the kind of kit that probably would've been pretty popular even as a regular retail release :-)
