This kit is the HG Full Armor Gundam released as a Club G (Premium Bandai) online exclusive. Based on the standard retail Origin HG RX-78 Gundam, with new tooling applied to more than half of the parts. It comes out looking clean with excellent sculpting and color separation.

Being based on the high-quality HG Origin Gundam, it delivers solid articulation and stable joint strength overall. The Full Armor plating, which is made up of 100% newly tooled parts, is designed to be removable and stays on securely once attached. The missile bays on the shoulders and knees are also nicely reproduced with working mechanisms. There aren't any extra weapons beyond what the Full Armor brings to the table, but the base unit alone is more than capable of pulling off some great poses.

There aren't a whole lot of special gimmicks worth writing home about, but the clean looks and solid build quality are definite plusses. This kit is significant simply for giving us a proper Full Armor in HG form, and if the style appeals to you, it's definitely worth picking up. :-)
