(The manual does say you can use them however you like, though.)
You can combine it with the HGUC Barzam (A.O.Z Re-boot Ver.) released through Club G to build the Aqua Barzam.
Parts for the Aqua Barzam
Before assembling into the Aqua Barzam, you'll need to swap out all the orange stickers for red ones. (What a pain..)
Disassemble the Aqua-Hambrabi Ⅱ into individual pieces like this.
After adding joint parts to the nose and tail..
New white parts are added to the above.
Combine the 3 parts together to form a circular drum frame, then
Clip white covers onto both sides to lock it in place.
Disassemble the HGUC Barzam (A.O.Z Re-boot Ver.) like this.
Attach the upper body and backpack as shown, then add pipes to both sides of the waist
Add the chest armor.
After swapping out the front face parts
Add the Booster and remaining parts to complete the body.
Then attach the original Barzam's arms and legs.
The aqua unit transforms as shown and mounts on both sides of the backpack.
To ensure the aqua unit locks into the correct position,
it's designed so that an octagonal hole and an octagonal peg interlock with each other.
Attach the dedicated right hand for the underwater Fedain Rifle and mount it to complete the combination.
Combined into the Aqua Barzam
The arms and legs stay the same, but the torso and head feel like they've gotten a completely different design.
