This kit is the HG Gundnode released as a Club G (Premium Bandai) online exclusive. Just like the HG Gund-Volvathat was released as a standard retail kit, it's an unmanned drone-type unit — but the structure is completely different from the Gund-Volva, so it comes as a 100% newly tooled kit.

The basic construction follows the same polycap-less approach as previous kits in the line — the joints aren't the smoothest, but they're solid and sturdy. Articulation is fairly standard, though it handles most of the poses from the show without much trouble. The cell unit lets you apply one of three sticker options: inactive (black), or red/blue glowing states, and effect parts for recreating the Datastorm space are also included — though to do it justice, you'll need to build multiple HG Gundnodes.

The Beam Reb Rifle is included as the weapon, and since the arm ends in a claw instead of a hand, it slots into the inside of the arm for a nice secure hold. As a side note, folding those small front feet forward makes it look like it should be able to stand upright, but in practice the center of gravity makes it really hard to keep it standing on the ground. That's why a clear stand is included — but then again, this unit is canonically always airborne anyway, so having it stand on the ground feels a bit off to begin with.
