This kit is the HGUC Gundam TR-6 [Barzam II] ReZeon Captured (A.O.Z Re-boot Ver.), released as a Club G (Premium Bandai) online exclusive. It's essentially a combination of the previously Club G-released HGUC Gundam TR-6 [Woundwort] and the HGUC Barzam ReZeon Captured
(A.O.Z Re-boot Ver.)
with four newly tooled runners added to the mix. Thanks to those additions, you can now build a complete Barzam II that simply wasn't possible by just combining the existing Woundwort and Barzam kits.

The new tooling is concentrated mainly on the head and torso. The Barzam II-specific torso frame and armor make for a much sturdier upper body compared to the flimsy folded-Woundwort approach of before. New tooling has also been added for the additional armament on the existing Barzam beam rifle and the front of the thighs. The newly tooled head comes in two versions — one with the blade antennae folded and one with them extended — and you can swap between them as complete head units. Everything else, including the arms, legs, and the beam rifle body itself, reuses parts straight from the existing Woundwort and Barzam kits.

That said, since the limbs are the same as before, the basic articulation is below average. The hovercraft still limits knee articulation, and bending the elbow with the beam rifle attached is still a struggle — these are issues that carry over unchanged. It's less a problem with the kit itself and more a limitation of the design. At least the body is solid, so posing is far more comfortable than with the AOZ kits that were built by snapping parts together like LEGO. The one thing to watch out for is the hip joint, which uses the small polycap from the Woundwort and feels a bit weak — it's not loose exactly, but it wobbles easily, so just be mindful of that.

And as is typical with AOZ kits, you end up with a staggering amount of leftover parts — an inevitable side effect of mixing so many kits together. The real problem isn't just the sheer number of leftover parts, though; it's that the parts layout becomes such a mess that finding what you need during assembly is genuinely difficult. The placement is inconsistent and far from intuitive, and there are even cases where runner names are duplicated, so you'll constantly be cross-referencing the instruction manual and the runners to track down each part. I'd strongly recommend clipping all the parts off the runners beforehand, and staying focused when separating them.

All that said, with the new tooling applied, the Barzam II is pulled off really well here. The head and torso being designed exclusively for the Barzam II in particular means both durability and looks are well taken care of. The ¥4,800 price tag does feel a little steep for an HGUC kit, and while the large box size and runner count make it understandable, it's still a bit of a sting when you think about all those leftover parts. Either way, if you're an AOZ fan who likes the look of this design, it's a fantastic kit that's hard to pass up. :-)
