This kit is the HG Gundam Zirius, released as a Club G (Premium Bandai) online exclusive. It's the mobile suit from "Gundam Eight," serialized in Monthly Gundam Ace. Being a recent series, it comes with quite a fresh and modern style.

First off, the build starts with a light armor base and adds armor on top of that. The additional armor is complex and stylish, but with so much hanging off it, you'll run into interference issues fairly often when posing. There's a mix of joints that are just right and ones that are overly stiff, so the relatively looser joints can pop out during posing — the shoulder joints in particular.
