This kit is the MG GM Command (Space Type), released as a Club G (Premium Bandai) online exclusive. It's the mobile suit that appears in the Gundam 0080 series, and it's finally gotten the MG treatment — based on the MG GM Sniper II.

First off, the major armor pieces — head, torso, backpack, arms, legs, etc. — have all been newly sculpted to match the GM Command's design specs, and the distinctive beam gun also came out nicely with solid color separation. The basic inner frame and joint layout is identical to the MG GM Sniper II, so it still delivers excellent articulation and joint strength. That said, the shoulder joints are relatively weak, so the wobbling issue where you can't lock them into a tight angle carries over as well.

Anyway, being a variation based on the highly regarded MG GM Sniper II, this kit also delivers a clean, quality feel overall. It's essentially the GM Sniper II with some of the outer armor swapped out, so there's nothing dramatically new here — but for those who've been waiting a long time for the GM Command to get the MG treatment, this must have been a very welcome gift. :-)

* For reference, one month after this kit was released, in December 2017, the standard retail release of the MG GM Command (Colony Type)came out. Both are GM Commands, but the Space Type ended up as a Club G exclusive while the Colony Type got a standard release — either way, just keep in mind that the Space Type came out first as a Club G limited release before the standard retail version.
