This kit is the MG Eclipse Gundam Reactor 2, released as a Club G (Premium Bandai) online exclusive. It's based on the standard release MG Eclipse Gundamwith changed molded colors and some newly sculpted parts added. The head design has been changed, and the R2-W1 beam rifle and R2-W2 solid sword have been added as new weapons.

Everything else — the basic frame, weapons, accessories, and transformation gimmick — is the same as the original. The overall color scheme shifting from white to black does give it a pretty different feel though. The newly added R2-W1 beam rifle and R2-W2 solid sword can be mounted on the side skirts, and the large binders attached to each weapon can rotate 360 degrees so you can position them however you like. They also connect well to the hands, so the grip is decent enough for their size.

That said, the original kit already had a bit of a wobbly feel to it, and this one is no different — all those tiny gaps across the many joints add up to give the whole body a slightly loose, rattly feel overall. The joints aren't exactly loose per se, but it's not the kind of kit that feels tight and solid either. Not sloppy, but not sturdy either — this is probably going to be a love-it-or-hate-it thing for people.

Anyway, as a color variant kit with some new sculpting added, the color change is pretty dramatic and the new parts came out clean. If the unique style appeals to you, it seems like a kit worth enjoying. :-)
