Compared to the Club G release of the MG Blaze Zaku Phantom / Blaze Zaku Warrior,this one simply leaves out the parts exclusive to the Zaku Warrior. The only change is the molded color, swapped out for Dearka's signature black — there's no new tooling here, making it a straightforward color variant kit.

So all the characteristics carry over from the original kit — great sculpt and joints that are almost stiff they're so solid. For this review, you really just need to pay attention to the updated molded colors. Personally, I think the combination of black and gray came out looking even better than I expected — really weighty and imposing. The kit itself already has a solid, hefty feel, and with the dark color scheme on top of that, the finished model has a seriously strong presence.

All in all, this is a clean, well-executed color variant that delivers solid quality. If you're drawn to that bold, heavy black color scheme, this is a kit I'd say go for it without hesitation. :-)
