This kit is the RG Gundam Exia - Gundam Astraea Parts Set, released as a Club G (Premium Bandai) online exclusive. Just like the previously released RG Gundam Exia Repair Parts Set,this one provides only the Astraea-specific parts, so the base RG Gundam Exianeeds to be purchased separately.

Unlike the Repair Parts, which only swapped out a handful of parts on the RG Gundam Exia, the Astraea parts require quite a large number of replacements across the entire body. Honestly, rather than swapping parts in and out on your existing RG Gundam Exia, it's probably a lot easier to just grab a second RG Gundam Exia and build it straight as Gundam Astraea.

With so many exterior parts changed, the kit does a great job of capturing all of Astraea's unique design elements. Beyond the redesigned body sections, you also get newly tooled parts for the new GN Beam Rifle, shield, GN Launcher, and Proto GN Sword. Since the underlying structure is the same as the RG Exia, it still delivers excellent articulation and joint strength, and the newly tooled weapons — packed with RG-level detail and gimmicks — make it a lot of fun to strike all kinds of Astraea-specific poses.

All in all, it's great to see Gundam Astraea faithfully reproduced at the RG level. That said, with this many parts being swapped out, it probably would've made more sense to release it as a standalone RG Gundam Astraea rather than an expansion set. Either way, if you're a fan of the 00 RG lineup, this kit gives you plenty of reason to pull the trigger. :-)
