This kit is the RG Black Tristar Custom Zaku II, released as a Club G (Premium Bandai) online exclusive. It's based on the Club G release of the RG Shin Matsunaga Custom
Zaku IIwith a molded color change and newly added sculpting. New sculpting has been applied to the elbows, back-of-hand armor, and rear calves, among other areas.

The basic layout and structure are identical to the existing Shin Matsunaga custom unit, so all the characteristics carry over as well. The feet still have that oddly tricky time standing flat, and the joints are tight to the point of being a bit of a hassle. Articulation is also fairly limited thanks to the bulky high-mobility legs, but the intricate, finely detailed feel you'd expect from an RG is still very much there. And as a bonus, newly sculpted Black Tristar pilot figures are included.

All in all, this kit is significant simply for the fact that the Black Tristar Custom Zaku II has finally made it into the RG lineup, and the subtle detail changes have been faithfully reproduced with new sculpting. You might feel the pressure to buy all three, but either way, if you're collecting RG Zakus, this one's pretty much a must-have. :-)
