This kit is the Nu Gundam HWS Expansion Set for the RG, released as a Club G (Premium Bandai) online exclusive. It's designed to be applied to the standard release RG Nu Gundam,and has a similar configuration to the MG Nu Gundam Ver.Ka HWS Expansion Setthat came out through Club G back in 2016. It includes HWS chest, skirt, and leg armor, along with the Hyper Mega Rifle and Hyper Mega Shield.

The overall quality is well up to RG standards, and it fits together with the RG Nu Gundam nicely. The way it works is you remove some of the RG Nu Gundam's shoulder, leg, and rear skirt parts and then attach the new ones. The Hyper Mega Shield in particular is packed with gimmicks that hold their own against the MG version, and it locks firmly onto the forearm using a dedicated joint part — though the sheer size and weight does cause the body to lean heavily to the left.

There's just no way to get it standing straight on a flat surface, so in my case I propped a clear support stand underneath for the photos. Even on a display stand, you can't really stop the weight from pulling to the left, and the durability is noticeably weaker compared to the MG. Setting that issue aside, the Hyper Mega Rifle actually connects far better than on the MG thanks to the rear locking section, and the chest missile launcher open gimmick is nicely reproduced as well. Also, on the MG you could combine the existing beam rifle with additional parts to build the Hyper Mega Rifle, but on the RG it comes as a complete unit with the beam rifle portion already included. That said, the sub-arm for the beam saber that was inside the skirt on the MG has been left out here.

Overall it's a great weapons pack that suits the RG Nu Gundam well, though the weight imbalance is still a bit of a letdown. If you can work around that one issue, it's a visually stunning accessory kit. Either way, if you're a fan of the RG Nu Gundam, this is definitely worth considering. :-)
