This kit is the RG Gundam Avalanche Exia Dash, released as a Club G (Premium Bandai) online exclusive. It's based on the RG Gundam Exiawith a number of newly sculpted runners added on top. Overall, the color scheme comes out slightly brighter and more pastel-toned compared to the standard Exia.
Since the base body carries over directly from the RG Gundam Exia, it shares similar articulation characteristics. Overall joint strength is excellent, but the articulation takes a noticeable hit thanks to all the extra armor piled on. That said, the exterior is so flashy and detailed that even simple poses end up looking really dynamic — and that's a big part of this kit's appeal. The additional parts also lock on solidly, so pieces rarely pop off during posing, which is a huge plus.
The weapon loadout is almost identical to the standard Exia, with the main addition being more beam parts. You can deploy the dash unit to recreate high-speed movement mode, and by deploying the claws and plugging in the beam parts, you can pull off a full four-sword configuration. Action Base 7 in pearl clear green is also included, so you can lock in aerial poses nice and securely. And if you remove the dash unit and add the separate parts, you can recreate the Gundam Avalanche Exia base body as well.
One important thing to note about this kit is that the build time is quite substantial. With so many runners and parts, you're looking at roughly 1.5 to 2 times the build time of a typical RG kit. On the flip side, that precise parts breakdown is exactly what gives it what might be the most gorgeous and impressive straight build look of any RG to date. That said, if you're not a fan of trimming and assembling large quantities of small parts, this one might be a tough sell.
All in all, they've done a fantastic job bringing the famously flashy Gundam Avalanche Exia Dash to life in RG form. Compared to the MG — which always had durability concerns given its size — this one feels far more stable, making it an even more satisfying kit overall. Sure, the build is a lot of work, but it's a great kit that really captures the essence of RG: small, precise, and absolutely stunning. :-)
