This kit is the SD Neo Zeong Metalic Ver., released as a Club G (Premium Bandai) online exclusive. It's based on the standard release BB Senshi Neo Zeong with changed molded colors and added plating. There's no new sculpting whatsoever — it's a straight-up plated color variant.

So for this review, all you really need to pay attention to is the changed molded colors and the plated finish. The gloss red coating is only applied to the Neo Zeong itself — the Sinanju inner unit just gets metallic molded color with no plating, which is a bit of a letdown. The stand does get a lamé clear molding with pearl mixed in, though. Overall, since the Neo Zeong has a much larger exposed armor surface area, it definitely reads as a shiny "plated version" no matter how you look at it.

As mentioned, the fact that only the Neo Zeong gets the coating while the Sinanju is left out did draw some complaints. That said, it does offer noticeably different molded colors and a plated finish compared to the standard release, so if you were a fan of the BB Senshi Neo Zeong as a large-scale SD kit, this should be a pretty tempting item. :-)
