ATM-09-ST Scopedog Metal spec ver.

For some reason, the silver runners aren't bagged~;

Compared to the normal Scopedog, the contents are pretty much the same volume..
They swapped the box size to a ¥4000-class MG-sized box to emphasize that this is a premium product.

The highlight of this kit is these metal parts..

As you can see, one sheet of etched parts and two metal parts are packaged separately.

If you flip the etched parts sheet over, there's a placement diagram printed on the back.. and there's a sponge behind it to protect the etched surface.

So basically, all of the above were just added straight on top of the existing normal kit contents, and that's what accounts for the ¥3000 price increase.

Close-up details of the etched parts. The key point is that the lettering is actually engraved in.

Smooth metal parts are used in two places — the barrel and the lens section.

The bolts that go into the body are actual real metal.

And this isn't really that important..
With the box size change, some runners that were attached together in the normal version are now separated and bagged individually.
This is just something I noticed while really trying hard to find differences ;;
