This is the HG Dyzad, released as a Premium Bandai online exclusive. Being the mass-production unit of L-Gaim, it shares a similar silhouette, proportions, and weapons with the L-Gaim. HG L-Gaim No parts are reused from it — this is an entirely new sculpt.

Since the design is different, the parts are completely different from the HG L-Gaim, but the overall joint structure and build quality are pretty much on the same level. It's a solid modern HG kit with a smooth build experience, good articulation, and stable joint strength. The weapons are also similar to L-Gaim's, consisting of a shield, beam saber, and power launcher — and just like L-Gaim, the power launcher connects to the body via a pipe. The random slate open gimmick on the legs is also reproduced, though the slide-type support tends to pop out easily when opened.

On top of that, HG L-Gaim Mk-II combined action with the Landbooster is also possible. Just like the HG L-Gaim, there's a gimmick for attaching the legs, so the collaboration stays nice and stable. All in all, it's great that we finally got a proper, fully new-sculpt HG Dyzad. This one's worth recommending not just to L-Gaim fans, but to anyone who enjoys a high-quality HG kit. :-)
