Kit Review

Following the MG Patlabor series, the 1/35 scale Labor Special Control Vehicle has been released as an EX model. Honestly, it would've been nicer if it had come bundled with the MG series instead of being a separate EX release... but either way, it's out as an EX model, and it'll run you a whopping ¥3,800;; (more expensive than the MG Ingram)
The kit's detail itself is solid, the underside detail — which is a good measure of quality for vehicle models — is excellent, and all the hatches open. So it's very faithful to what a kit like this should be. Being a typical EX model, there's no color separation at all, but it's not a particularly difficult kit to paint either. The black areas can be roughly color-matched using the included seals.
The 6 included figures do look nice, but... I can't help thinking it would've been better to cut down on the figures and lower the price a bit. The MG Ingram series already comes with plenty of similar figures anyway. ^^;
Anyway, the kit itself is fine — it's just the price that's a bit iffy. There isn't really that much to say about it in text, so have a look at the photos and judge for yourself. ^_^
