Following the mass production Dopp Fighter, Garma's Dopp Fighter has also been released as an EX kit. The original Dopp Fighter kit was a dual-scale release covering both 1/144 and 1/100, but this kit picks out only the 1/144 runners and swaps the molded color slightly — making it the only color variant in the EX lineup. It's the cheapest EX kit as a result, coming in at ¥1200, but.. true to the EX model name, when you see those sparse runners rattling around in a box smaller than an SD kit, you can't help but feel like you're overpaying;

The kit itself is completely identical to the existing green Dopp Fighter, so there's not much to say.. The molded color is in Garma's orange scheme, which feels about 2% off somehow.. but then again, I figure the people buying this are probably going to paint it anyway ^^;

Maybe they felt a little embarrassed just swapping the molded color and calling it a day — there is a generous sheet of 1/144 seals included. That alone makes it at least a little easier to swallow ^^;
