Kit Review

The Falke Ver. IV has been released as a new Full Metal Panic HG kit. Structurally, it reuses quite a few parts from the Guren Mk-II, but the color scheme has changed so dramatically that it actually feels surprisingly fresh. The head, shoulders, and forearm armor have been redesigned, and the thighs and shins have gotten noticeably thicker and beefier. On top of that, two Crimson Edge monomolecular cutters and a Heat Lance have been added as new weapons.
Since the basic frame is nearly identical to the previous releases, it still delivers excellent articulation, solid joint strength, and great depth thanks to the finely divided parts breakdown. Visually, the revised armor and color scheme give it a tougher, more imposing look, and with the existing standard weapons included alongside the new ones, the overall weapon loadout feels even more generous. That said, possibly due to the larger shoulder armor, the shoulders tend to interfere during posing and the whole arm has a tendency to pop off.
Overall, it's a very high-quality kit just like the previous ones — any Full Metal Panic fan should find it more than satisfying. :-)
