As part of the Figure-rise Mechanic Doraemon series, Doraemon's Secret Gadget — "Time Machine" has been released alongside Doraemon and Dorami. It's one of those clever, memorable items from the original series that fans will definitely recognize, and it turned out to have quite a hefty volume — bigger than I expected.

First off, a variety of colored runners are used, so even a straight build gives you a colorful finished look. The control panel, seat, and left tank sections even have inner mechanical frames sculpted inside them. You can easily pop off the covers to expose the mechanics, but each cover also has an opening gimmick, so you can display them in a hatch-open configuration too.

This kit also includes the main character Nobita, and the color separation is just as impressive as on Doraemon. The sculpt looks like it jumped straight out of the anime, though the only articulated part is the right arm which just rotates — so he's really just a display piece.
